What we help with

From sore backs to long term conditions.

Pain and injury

Lower back, neck, shoulder, hip and knee pain, sciatica, bursitis, tendon problems. We find what the joint can and cannot do and load it properly. See the conditions pages →

Chronic conditions

Diabetes, heart disease, osteoporosis, arthritis, cancer recovery, chronic fatigue and pain. Exercise prescribed like medicine: the right dose, reviewed regularly.

Post surgery rehab

Knee and hip replacements, ACL, shoulder and spinal surgery. We pick up where your surgeon and physio leave off and take you back to full strength.

Falls, balance and ageing well

Strength and balance programs for older adults, at the clinic or at home. Getting off the floor, up the stairs and out the door with confidence.

Disability and NDIS

Exercise physiology for kids, teens and adults on the NDIS. Coordination, strength, fitness and confidence in movement, built around participant goals.

Return to work and sport

WorkCover and TAC rehab, graded programs matched to the demands of your job or sport, with progress reports your case manager can follow.

How it works

Three steps. No mystery.

01

Assess

60 minutes with one Accredited Exercise Physiologist. History, movement, strength and balance testing on the force plate. Numbers, not guesses.

02

Plan

A written program in plain English, built around what we measured and what you want to get back to. Clinic sessions, home program or both.

03

Retest

We measure again at six weeks. If the numbers have moved, we progress. If they have not, the plan changes.

Fees

Initial assessment $165 for 60 minutes. Follow up sessions $104.50 for 40 minutes. No referral is needed to see us privately.

Funding

Exercise physiology is funded by the NDIS, DVA, WorkCover, TAC and My Aged Care. Medicare Chronic Disease Management plans from your GP give you up to five rebated visits a year, and most private health extras policies cover exercise physiology. Bring your card and we can claim on the spot.

FAQ

Exercise physiology questions people ask

Physiotherapists focus on diagnosing and treating injury, often with hands on treatment. If exercise is the answer to your problem, we are the specialists in it.

It depends on the problem and the goal. Most people see us weekly or fortnightly for the first six weeks, then space sessions out as the home program takes over. We tell you what we expect after the first assessment.

Yes, for NDIS, aged care and DVA clients where it suits the goals, and for anyone who cannot get to the clinic. Ask when you book.
