Department of Veterans' Affairs

Exercise physiology for veterans, billed to DVA.

Gold and White Card holders can see our accredited exercise physiologists with a referral from their GP. We bill DVA directly, so there is nothing to pay on the day for accepted conditions.

How it works

  • Ask your GP for a DVA allied health referral (the D904 form) for exercise physiology.
  • Call us or book online and tell us it is a DVA referral. Bring your card to the first visit.
  • We run the initial assessment, agree on a plan and bill DVA at the DVA schedule fee.
  • Referrals last for 12 sessions or a year. We let you know when a renewal from your GP is due.

What we work on

Strength, balance and falls prevention, back and joint pain, heart and lung conditions, diabetes and weight, and staying active after surgery. Programs are written for your goals and reviewed with your GP.

White Card holders

DVA funds treatment for the conditions accepted on your card. If you are not sure whether your condition is covered, we can check with DVA before you start.
